Who Scarab Rust Is For
Two lists. The second one is the useful one, because almost nobody writes it.
Every server tells you it is for everyone, which is how you end up spending a wipe somewhere that was never going to suit you. Here is the honest split. If you land mostly in the second list, do not join. You will have a bad time, we will have a bad time, and you will be right about it.
Scarab is for you if
Any two or three of these and you will fit here.
You are in Türkiye, the Gulf or Iran and tired of 80 to 120ms on EU servers
Playing at that latency is a permanent handicap in every fight you take, and no amount of aim practice fixes a connection that is arriving late.
You want to play in your own language
Turkish, Arabic, Farsi or English, across the site, the Discord and the support queue, with staff who can actually answer you.
You want ranked progression that survives a wipe
Your base goes every wipe. Your rank, your stats and your season history do not.
You play solo, duo or trio
Small teams are the default here rather than the underdog case that gets bulldozed by a fifteen player clan on day two. How small teams play here.
You want admins who are actually present
In game, not just a ticket queue that answers three days later once the wipe is over and it no longer matters.
You are coming back after a break and need to relearn
Rust changes fast. There are guides, a practice server and a community that will not treat a question as an invitation.
Scarab is not for you if
We would rather tell you now than take your wipe.
You want pure vanilla
We do not run one and we are not going to pretend a 2x is close enough to count. The full answer on vanilla.
You want no group limit and zerg play
If your plan is to roll twenty deep and own the map by day two, this is the wrong server and you will find us annoying.
You want to buy an advantage
Nothing on offer arms you faster than the raid economy can answer. If that is the feature you are shopping for, it is not here. Where we draw the line.
You are in Western Europe or North America with 20ms locally
You already have what we are offering. Our whole pitch is proximity, and from there we are the far server rather than the close one.
