Our story

The Home of Rust in the Middle East

No Rust server is really built for Arabic players. We are building Scarab Rust to change that: low ping for the Gulf, staff who speak the language, and a home for the Arab Rust community.

The team behind Scarab

The team behind one of the region's biggest Arab Rust servers

We built and ran one of the region's biggest Arab Rust servers. We stepped away from that project, then realized our work in the Arab Rust community was not done, so we are back at it.

Our goal was always to represent the Middle East and Arab players in Rust. We thought we had fallen short, until Facepunch put their first official servers in the Middle East. To us that was proof the region had arrived, and that the work we started helped get it there.

So we are back as Scarab Rust, here to build the home of Rust in the Middle East.

What we stand for

Fair servers with active anti-cheat and moderation that actually shows up. A leaderboard and public profiles that mean something across wipes. And guides and content made in Arabic, by people who play.

What we are building

A Rust community made for the Gulf

Low-ping Gulf servers

Hosted in the UAE, so the Gulf gets low ping instead of routing all the way to Europe or the US.

Aim training and Ranked

Aim training servers, plus ranked Scrims and Facechecks with seasons and a public leaderboard.

Profiles and clans

A public profile that keeps your rank, stats and clan across every wipe.

Guides and content in Arabic

Guides, content and informational videos made for the Arabic playerbase, in Arabic and English.

Fair and moderated

Active anti-cheat and staff who actually moderate, on Middle East hours.
