Server rules
Scarab Rust runs a competitive 2x survival server and ranked Aim Train Gulf. These rules keep fights fair and the community civil. They apply on every server, in Discord, and on the site. Playing here means you accept them. See something broken? Open a ticket.
General conduct
The basics that keep the server worth playing on. Break these and you get a warning first, then a ban if it continues.
- Respect staff and players
Be civil with staff and other players. Staff decisions are final, so take disputes to a ticket, not to chat.
- Keep public chat readable
English and Arabic are the server languages. Use one of them in public chat so admins can actually moderate what is said.
- No impersonation
Do not pose as staff, another player, or Scarab Rust itself in your name, tag, or messages.
- No advertising
Do not promote other servers, communities, or services in chat, DMs, names, or signs.
- Play your own account
Account sharing, purchasing, or selling is at your own risk. It voids your reward tiers and any linked perks if abused. You are responsible for your own account.
Cheating & exploits
Zero tolerance. This section carries permanent bans, and most of it has no appeal. If it gives you an unfair edge, it is banned.
- No cheats of any kind
Usage of any unauthorized tools, scripts, or programs that interact with the game and are not authorized by Rust or the game anti-cheat may result in a ban.
- Do not circumvent anti-cheat
Do not attempt to circumvent any anti-cheat or moderation effort.
- No glitches or exploits
The use of glitches, bugs, or any method of play outside the bounds of standard play is not permitted. Report anything you find in a ticket instead of using it.
- No ban evasion
You are not permitted to evade game bans or server bans on another account.
- No cheater association
Knowingly teaming with a cheater to share their loot, intel, or advantage gets you banned alongside them.
- No attacks on the server
Do not attempt to crash, lag, overload, or otherwise harm the server. This includes lag machines, DDoS attacks, and any exploit or spam used to disrupt play.
Teaming & ranked
Team size is set per server and it is not a suggestion. This is what keeps a 3-man from turning into a zerg, and ranked from being farmed.
- Respect the team limit
The number in the server name is the max, on the map and in voice. Do not run more players than that under any arrangement.
- No cross-teaming
Helping, trading with, or coordinating with a group outside your own to gang up on the server breaks the limit and is bannable.
- Clean team swaps
When someone leaves the team, strip their access first: tool cupboard auth, code locks, sleeping bags, and boxes.
- Play ranked honestly
On Aim Train, throwing matches, queue-dodging to duck opponents, or boosting a friend's rank all wipe your progress and can result in a ban.
Chat & toxicity
Talk trash, that is Rust. Cross into hate or real-world threats and there is no warning. This is a mixed Gulf and international community.
- No racism or hate speech
Slurs and hate speech in any language, in chat, names, Discord, or signs, are a permanent ban with no warning.
- No threats or doxxing
Death threats, doxxing, and DDoS threats are reported to the platforms and, where needed, to authorities. Permanent ban.
- No targeted harassment
Do not hound, brigade, or stream-snipe a player to harass them. Rivalry is fine; a campaign against someone is not.
- Lose with grace
Banter is part of the game. Slurs, real threats, and chat spam are not banter and will be moderated.
- Keep it clean
No NSFW, gore, or shock content in chat, signs, names, or Discord.
Bans & appeals
How enforcement works, and the one right way to challenge a call. Read this before you argue in chat.
- Bans are public
Every ban is logged on the bans page with its reason and date. Nothing is hidden.
- Appeal through a ticket
Open a ticket to appeal, not a public message or a DM to staff.
- Appeals are final
Appeal decisions are final. You may not reopen tickets to argue or re-appeal unless significant new information has come to light.
- Money changes nothing
Buying ranks, kits, or reward tiers does not shorten, lift, or influence a ban in any way.
- Treat staff kindly
Arguing with or abusing staff over a decision can extend the ban. Make your case calmly in the ticket.
